Happy Easter!!

We had a fun Easter this year. The girls look forward to new dresses, Easter treats and egg hunts. We did the neighborhood egg hung in the park. Grace was more interested in the playground she found empty after gathering her eggs than she was in what was in the plastic eggs at first. On Sunday we had Kev's family over for dinner and a little egg hunt in the yard. The girls enjoyed having cousins and candy.

Kourtney's golden birthday

The golden child

We celebrated Kourtney's golden birthday last Wednesday (because she turned 12 on March 12). This is Kev's family tradition that is pretty fun. You get something gold on your birthday. Kourtney was sure it would be a golden cell phone, but it wasn't. It was in fact a waterproof Nike sport watch (in black and silver--because she's not a fan of gold). We did baptisms for the dead and went out to dinner at TGI Fridays. She wants to have a small friend party and another family get together with homemade pizza on Sunday. This birthday is kind of a killer because she goes into Young Womens and middle school. I'm in Beehives, so I'm excited. She's already embarrassed. So here we go. My camera batteries quit right during her birthday pictures so I don't have many, but maybe I'll add a few more to her slideshow after her party. So, Happy Golden Birthday to Kourt.

Our look-alikes

It's kind of fun to see who the girls look like, and the celebrity thing is kinda fun too. It's funny because all the girls are almost right in the middle of both Kev and I.

Puerto Vallarta

Kev and I recently returned from Puerto Vallarta where the weather was so perfect we could hardly belive we were coming back to the biggest snow storm I can ever remember having here. We ziplined the jungle and read on the beach. We wrote Happy Birthday to Ashley in the sand because we returned on her birthday, and because Ashley appreciates that sort of thing more than the rest of us. We had a great time, even though I missed parasailing by about two minutes. Oh well, maybe next time. We got a bit of a tan, and Kevin got a lot of a burn on his legs. I walked on the beach in the morning. It was great. I even read Twilight, which I have been avoiding because I didn't want to get hooked. Color me a fan. I bought all three books and quickly reread them when I was done, pretending it was still my first time through them so my family wouldn't make fun of me. Actually, now Kevin is reading them because he has nothing else to read and because I think he wants to see what all the fuss is about. I think that's kind of cute.

I guess I'm going to become a blogger

Okay, so here's my attempt.I must admit I'm relucatant to begin something I don't plan to be very good at because I'm only at the computer as much as necessary. However, I'm Mindy. I'm married to Kevin, and I've been married to Kev for 13 years. We have three gorgeous girls, Kourtney, Ashely and Grace.
